Make plans to attend one of the LOPFI seminars.  Seminars are free and provide information about the retirement system and local plans under LOPFI administration.  Whether you are a covered member or an employer, these events offer a great opportunity to learn about your retirement system and the laws that govern it.

Seminar topics include LOPFI plan design, legislative changes, regular retirement, disability retirement, and active member services.  All sessions have plenty of time for you to ask questions.  We also offer an employer seminar for individuals who handle the monthly reporting, enrollment of new members, etc. 

We hope members, retirees, and employers will make plans to attend one of the seminars listed.  Each morning seminar starts at 10:00 a.m. and lasts approximately to 11:30 a.m.  If enough individuals are registered, a second seminar will be conducted the same day from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Employer seminars begin upon conclusion of the morning seminar.
